The Second Annual Half-Marathon of the Harbors and Harbors 5k is a Compete Green event held April 1st, 2012 that starts in Ventura Harbor. The flat and fast half-marathon course begins opposite the Ventura Harbor Village in Ventura Harbor and winds through the Mandalay and Hollywood Beach neighborhoods in Oxnard, runs along Channel Islands Harbor finishing back near the start line. The Harbors 5k is a sightseers tour of the Ventura Harbor area with the Harbor docks with views of the Harbor and surrounding areas.

T-Shirts:
Half-Marathon runners will receive a recycled technical fiber running shirt by Green Layer. The 5k participants will receive a 100% organic cotton shirt by econscious.
Awards:
Age group winners for both the Half-Marathon and 5k will receive environmentally friendly awards. Half-marathon finishers will receive an artist designed, recycled steel medal.
You must be present to receive your awards.
Timing & Results:
Each competitor will be professionally timed, and results will be posted here soon after the event. 2011 Results are posted in the right hand column.

Aid Stations:
There will be 4 aid stations during the half-marathon with water. 2 of the aid stations will offer electrolyte drink and energy gels. The 5k will offer one aid station with water and electrolyte drink.
Restrooms:
Public restrooms will be available at the start and finish areas as well as several points on the courses.
